Technical

• Explain the software development life cycle and where testing sits in it.

• What is the difference between Agile and Waterfall in practice?

• Explain a class and an object with your own example.

• What is cloud computing? Name a service you have used.

• Difference between compiled and interpreted languages.

Coding

• Count the vowels and consonants in a string.

• Find the factorial of a number, both iteratively and recursively.

• Swap two numbers without a third variable.

• Print the Fibonacci series up to n.

Communication and HR

• Describe your hometown to someone who has never been there.

• Tell me about a time you worked in a team that was failing.

• Why consulting rather than a pure engineering role?

• Are you open to night shifts and client-hours work?

How to practise these
